Kepler's laws
The three basic laws of planetary motion discovered by Johannes Kepler.
Kinetic energy
The energy of motion of a body. It is expressed as one-half the product of its mass and the square of its velocity: K.E = 1/2 mv2.
Kirchoff's laws
The three laws which explain the formation of continuous, emission (bright-line), and absorption spectra.
Kirkwood's gaps
The gaps in the spacing of the asteroids.
